It cannot be disputed that Leyton Fourie has already had a sterling season, but the talented youngster is not done yet! Leyton will be back in action at Zwartkops Raceway this weekend, with his sights firmly set on the 2017 Mini Max Northern Regions Championship.

Leyton has a solid lead in the championship. Whilst a regional title may sound anticlimactic after winning both the 2017 South African Mini Max Championship and the Africa Open title, winning this championship will be the cherry on the top for Leyton and the entire RKT team.

As if being in a position to claim the “triple crown” wasn’t enough, Leyton is also still in contention to take the Mini Rok Championship as well. With only nine points separating Leyton and Jarrod Waberski and with Kwanda Mokoena still in striking distance, the title is far from decided.

Leyton is undoubtedly an exceptional racer, but he is also humble in the knowledge that he didn’t get to this point on his own.

“I would like to thank my family for their unwavering dedication, as well as the entire RKT team for giving me a winning package and continuous support.”

Racing in two categories is tough, but it will stand Leyton in good stead before he heads to Portugal for the Rotax Max World final next week.
