Leyton Fourie will be back on track this weekend as he tackles the second round of the Northern Regions Junior Max championship. The race takes place at Laserfiche Raceway in Vereeniging and pre-race testing has left Leyton feeling confident of some good results.

“I think I have adapted very well to the new kart and although this is my first season in Junior Max, I feel like, together with my sponsor, Bidvest Compendium Insurance Brokers and the RKT team, we have what it takes to be challenging for the championship,” commented Leyton.

Leyton put in a strong performance in the first round of the championship at Zwartkops finishing 3rd and whilst he has the pace to run at the front of the field, he has been dogged by some bad luck this season.

“My team has been working very hard to ensure that my Tony Kart is in race winning condition and I will continue to push both the kart and myself to the limits in order to achieve the best possible results,” confirmed Leyton.
There can be no doubt that the 2017 Mini Max Champion will be giving 100% this weekend.
